How It Started
We’re Nicola and Paul Broomham — wife and husband, now co-founders.
For two decades, our evening conversations have revolved around one thing: how our industry could feel different.
We’ve both seen the highs and lows. From building businesses to leading teams, from the boardroom to the coaching chair. We’ve lived it. And somewhere between the late nights, big ideas, and the “what if we actually did this?” moments… something new was born.
2point0 Group.
We’d both seen what happens when people lose the human bit of what they do. We wanted to build something that put that back at the centre.
We’re not here to be the biggest or the loudest. We just want to do good work with good people. The kind of work that genuinely makes a difference. To teams. To leaders. And to the individuals trying to figure out what’s next.
Our Story
Between us, we’ve spent more than two decades working in property, recruitment, leadership, and business growth.
Nicola built and sold her own recruitment business before retraining as a leadership coach. Her background in estate agency and her passion for equity and inclusion shaped her belief that success starts with people — and that honesty, courage, and compassion can absolutely co-exist in business.
Paul has led large, multi-branch estate agency networks, overseen mergers and acquisitions, and managed big teams through constant change. He brings the calm, commercial edge — and knows exactly how to turn ideas into results.
We don’t always agree (and thank goodness for that). We come at things from different angles — but that’s the point.

Why 2.0?
The name 2.0 is about evolution — yours and ours.
Everything we do is designed to help you build your own version 2.0: a business that’s sharper, stronger, and more aligned with where you want to go next. Whether that’s through smarter recruitment, clearer strategy, or stronger leadership, our goal is to help you move forward, not just change for the sake of it, but grow with purpose.
It’s also personal. This is Nicola’s second recruitment business, shaped by everything she’s learned along the way — the good, the tough, and the “never again” moments. This time, it’s about doing it differently. Smarter. More intentionally. The 2.0 version.
And finally, the name stuck because of everyone else. When Nicola sold her first business, she handed over the rights to her surname. But people kept asking, “So… when are you launching [Surname] Recruitment 2.0?” We couldn’t use the name so we kept the 2.0 part. Because really, that’s what we’re all about: progress, not repetition.

Our Philosophy
When we sat down to define our philosophy, one word came up time and time again — Human.
